Today we first held a book discussion about Elizabeth Blackwell, the first female doctor in America. Then we went to the Provo Pioneer Museum and viewed a number of interesting items and facts about our pioneer heritage. We also talked about the 1828 definition of what a pioneer means and how each of us girls can be pioneers. Four girls were present today. Vice President Julianne Z. welcomed the girls to our club meeting. Our service project was a continuation of tying quilts for the humanitarian center. Two quilts were taken home by Julianne and Eliza. They hope to have them tied by the September meeting.
Here are just a couple pictures. We thought we took more but not so.

I wish Zion was ten so she could join you! Maybe next summer! Looks like you ladies are doing an awesome job!
ReplyDeleteHi there! My name is Natalie Kaiserman and I am on the AYLI Youth Marketing Team. I came across your blog when I was looking for a new YASA picture for the AYLI website. Your pictures are just what we need. Would you mind if we used them for the AYLI site?
